President

Kim Wiest

President & owner of Platinum Marketing Group with over 25 years’ experience in sales and media direction. Kim has exceptional knowledge of the media landscape having worked in TV, radio, print and online. Since 2002, Kim has successfully grown her company in both breadth and depth.  She is a specialist in rate negotiations and a highly regarded speaker at industry events. Kim can work one-on-one with your sales managers or your sales team to provide sales and marketing training. Optimizing your investment and understanding how to integrate your message through all the media channels while engaging with consumers is a science and art form.

Renee is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati and spent 10 years as an Account Executive in local television sales. Renee has 15 years planning/buying experience, including TV, Cable, Radio, Outdoor, Print, Digital for local, Regional and National clients.

Abby Beyke

Abby Beyke

Abby has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and worked at Northlich as a Designer right out of college. Abby received her MBA in Marketing and switched to the marketing side during her time at Northlich. She managed accounts like Starkist and P&G School Programs, while also dabbling in Brand Development for BrandStorm [a side arm of Northlich]. Abby’s latest endeavor at PMG is helping to raise awareness for a non-profit called Snack in a Sak, that provides snacks to children in other non-profit afterschool programs, and event planning for clients like Premier Health. Abby love’s seeing when an event comes together!

  • Outside of work: Hanging with my kid’s I love to attend their swim meets, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, and basketball games

Leilah Brasier

Leilah Brasier

After graduating from high school Leilah moved to South Africa to work with orphan street children. She spent the two years following her time in South Africa backpacking through the Middle East, and Eastern and Western Europe, working with various non-profits and just enjoying the journey. When she moved back to the US Leilah started working with Amazon Fashion and became the production coordinator for their Editorial Photography studios in Kentucky and New York. During her 4 years there she became the process improvement leader for Amazon Cincinnati Imaging and lead projects in all Amazon Photo studios in North America. She launched many additional studios across the country and partnered with Amazon Global Imaging teams in Europe and Asia to align all of their processes.

  • Favorite Vacation Hangout: Somewhere new! I don’t often like to go back to places I have been as the discovery of some place new is half the fun! My next goal is to go to either Spain or Peru
  • Outside of work: I love to go rock climbing or spending time with my husband out on our boat on the Ohio
  • Go To Treat: Lipstick! I know this is supposed to be a food treat but honestly, every time I get a promotion or really want to reward myself I don’t buy a candy bar… I buy a lipstick

Jessica Dempsey

Jessica Dempsey

Jessica graduated from Mount St. Joseph with a BFA in Graphic Design and was hired on to work with Mahan Advertising as a Graphic Designer. Jessica worked at Mahan Advertising for about six years as their graphics guru, partnering with the marketing team to develop seasonal print, web, and online campaigns for their clients within the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Indianapolis markets. Jessica is now working at Platinum Marketing Group as a Graphic Designer. She works with the Production team to develop various campaigns stretching from print to online for clients across several markets.

  • Outside of work: I’m a full time Mom, my family and I like to play nerf gun tag, paint nails, and go swimming!

Maria Ortiz

Maria Ortiz

Maria is originally from Mexico and has lived in Fort Worth, Texas, but for the past 16 years she has called has called Cincinnati home. Maria attended Western Hills High school and took administrative classes at Cincinnati State. Maria is a mother of two outstanding, loving boys. She is a makeup freak, and loves horses and the country. In her spare time, she enjoys scrap booking and do crafting activities with her kids.

Mike Bober

Mike Bober

Mike is a graduate from Miami University in Oxford and has over 25 years’ experience in the advertising, marketing, broadcast and video production industry. He has developed into a creative strategist, focused on creating integrated content to build sales, brand awareness and customer interaction. Engaged in all aspects of content strategy and creation across all media platforms. Mike’s has worked with clients that range from Disney Corporation, P&G, Sony Music, to the Cincinnati Zoo, just to name a few. Nominated numerous times and winner of two regional Emmy awards. Mike’s a husband and father of four with a passion for family and the outdoors.

Shelley Barney

Shelley is a results-oriented marketing account, operations and project management director with a proven track record delivering creative brand advertising and marketing program solutions. Shelley is experienced in account and project management, operations, print and video production management, recruiting, mentoring and training staff, managing schedules and budgets, implementing company processes, contract development, managing P&L and new business development.

  • Funny/Interesting Story: Seeing Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer for the first time in person – my brother thought I was going to pass out. It was so great to see two of my biggest heroes up close that day. I was truly star struck.

Lori has 25 years of experience in broadcast and digital marketing on the sales side. Lori hung up her media sales hat and joined PMG in April of 2016 and hasn’t looked back!

Cincinnati has so much diversity and amazing restaurants and cool places to hang out. The changing of the seasons and the people are quite amazing. I truly love Cincinnati.

After College Kat moved to New York to work in the Public Relations department for the Miss Universe Organization.

After college Michelle took a receptionist position at an Ad Agency. After only a few months, Michelle was asked to join the Media Department and now has over 16 years of Media experience through several agencies in town. She has worked on a large variety of accounts over the years and has negotiated & bought Local, Regional and National media including Television, Cable, Radio, Outdoor, Print & Digital.

  • Funny / Interesting Story: I dated my husband for 13 years, we met in High School and he “surprised” me with our wedding. He planned every detail from beginning to end (yes, even the dress). We flew to Maui for a “vacation”, 24 hours later, he proposed, 24 hours after that, we were married on the beach.
  • What is your favorite thing about Cincinnati? Being downtown … I love the city and all the dining, entertainment, sports and music it offers

Sarah opened Saks Fifth Avenue in 1983 and retired 17+ years later to be an [active community involved] stay-at-home Mom. Sarah came out of retirement to work for Kim Wiest at PMG! She has re-careeredand re-invented herself 5 times in her life and loves the dynamic fast pace of every position she has held.
